A colourful revolution

Throughout the peony season, the beautiful peony Command Performance flaunts itself in all its glory. Few flowers can match the size and volume of this lush, bulbous peony. With its striking colour change, the Command Performance is affectionately called ‘the magic ball’. This hybrid, double peony undergoes a spectacular transformation in a fortnight. She starts as bright red, changes to deep orange, then to subtle peach and soft cream, and ends as a brilliant white flower.

Flowering time of Command Perfomance

The flowering period of Command Performance extends over two months, mainly in May and June. As with many flowers, weather conditions greatly influence the flowering period. At Greenflor, we carefully import our peonies from the Netherlands, France and Romania, allowing us to offer a diverse and extensive range. Although Command Performance is available all season, it comes into its own especially at the end of the season, making it the perfect finale to the peony season.
