Since its establishment in 1999, Wim and Peter have expanded their nursery considerably. With a total of 7.5 hectares of beautiful cut foliage, such as Thujopsis and Filifera, they offer an impressive assortment. By continuously looking for new opportunities, the nursery continues to flourish. This exclusive range makes Andromeda one of a kind.Â

What sets Andromeda apart is the diverse range of 30 species of conifers and other cut foliage. Perfect for autumn and Christmas arrangements, including beautiful varieties such as Elegans, Filifera and Blauw de Luxe. These exclusive flowers are hugely popular during the festive season as florists can make impressive creations with them. Wim and his team are constantly innovating to keep their range unique, with new and exotic greenery varieties.Â

sustainability and innovation
The nursery is committed to sustainability. During the peak season, which runs from September to mid-December, the team carefully prunes the long branches to keep the trees healthy for the following year. This sustainable process ensures that the same trees can be used for many years. Some of the exclusive range is even imported from Taiwan, which has a similar maritime climate. This approach allows the plants to thrive in the Netherlands.Â

Greenflor's buyer and green specialist, Gerard de Ruijter, has been working with Andromeda for more than 30 years. The smooth cooperation between the nursery and Greenflor ensures that the various greens quickly find their way to customers. In the high season, as many as 20 trolleys go to the auction every week. This beautiful ornamental greenery is a valuable addition to Greenflor's autumn and Christmas ranges.Â
