Our dried flower growers roll up their sleeves every day to harvest the best dried flowers. Buyer Juul visits grower Mark, who manages beautiful fields of Lagurus in Brabant. Without the dedication and craftsmanship of our growers, we would not be able to enjoy such beautiful flowers. Mark ensures that each flower is grown, harvested and dried with care so that they can serve as perfect decorations.

When I enter the fields, I see countless fluffy bulbs gently swaying in the wind. Grower Mark started growing sunflowers six years ago. "My land grew to 100 hectares. Last year, I started with dried flowers because of rising demand. I started small, with a few hectares, to ensure quality."

A sunny season
"The sunny weather made the Lagurus bloom extremely well this year!" Mark still harvests the flowers manually and makes the bunches himself. This process may not be as efficient, but for now, we continue to do it this way. "This way, we guarantee the highest quality and unique charm of each bunch of Lagurus," says Mark.
Long live the dried lagurus
Lagurus is a resilient grass with fluffy heads, also known as Hare's tail because of its resemblance to a hare's tail. This dried flower is perfect for placing on its own in a vase or combining with other dried flowers. We often incorporate the Hare's Tail into our bouquets. They are durable, retain their shape and colour for a long time, and are a real eye-catcher. Lagurus adds a playful and cuddly element to any floral arrangement.
