The pumpkin season at Greenflor has officially started! Starting today, you'll find a stunning selection of pumpkins in every possible color, shape, and size. Whether you're looking for mini, majestic, round, long, striped, bumpy, or smooth pumpkins, we have them all. And the best part? They all come from Dutch soil.

In February and March, the grower plants the seeds in the ground. Within a few months, a plant emerges and by July it starts to grow above the soil. This plant spreads across the land, producing both male and female flowers. Pumpkins only begin to grow once bees pollinate the female flowers. Therefore, preserving bees is crucial for the harvest. Without bees, there would be no pumpkins.
Between late August and late October, the pumpkins are ready for harvest, just in time for Halloween. Workers head into the fields with large crates to pick the ripe fruit, which becomes available in the Greenflor webshop from the second week of October.
