The peony season has started
The peony season is about to start! The beloved French peonies are available again, earlier than the Dutch varieties due to the favourable French climate. This means that the harvest is spread out longer, so there is plenty of choice. We take you to the south of France, where the beautiful peonies are blooming and harvested.Â
Exclusive peonies
Greenflor starts this season with breathtaking peonies such as Pink Hawaiian Coral, Flame and Coral Sunset. From week 15, we will expand our range with even more exclusive peonies such as Duchesse de Nemours, Command Performance and Odile. These unique, large flowers come in colours such as pink, red, lilac, white, salmon and cerise. Keep an eye on our webshop as our range continues to grow!Â

The first peonies from tunnel and greenhouse
This year Greenflor is already offering the first peonies from our tunnels, as early as mid-March! A special first is our production from a 35,000m² greenhouse, completely covered with solar panels. This greenhouse captures every ray of sunlight, and the energy generated is used directly in the nursery. So you not only enjoy beautiful peonies, but also sustainable cultivation.Â
Perfect for weddings
Due to the many postponed weddings, the demand for peonies is higher than ever this year. The full petals and large buds make peonies the eye-catcher of any bridal bouquet. The 2022 trend is a vintage bridal bouquet with soft colours, with soft pink and white peonies being a particular favourite.Â
